Some common problems with uPVC Doors

Dropped doors are very common with UPVC doors, therefore misaligning the locks with the keeps. It can make the door difficult to open but uPVC doors are designed to be fully adjustable so this can fixed.

Lock cylinders or mechanisms can wear out over time causing faults which can be a common problem. If you are having difficulty opening your door or it’s difficult to turn the key then your lock may need fixing or replacing. Fixing or changing a lock yourself can be a timely job so it’s usually best to get a professional locksmith to do this.

We’ll repair the majority of faults but if we cannot repair the lock we can replace it for you. We will only replace the lock if we cannot repair it.
